Founded in 1961 by Bob Wells, this small family business is now owned by his grandson, Nathan Deets, a 3rd generation locksmith. Nathan is currently Chairman and charter member of the Iowa Chapter of Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA). In addition to having the largest locksmith shop in North Central Iowa and offering 24/7 call service with 8 employees, 4 of whom are certified technicians, Central Lock has the only ALOA certified registered locksmith and ALOA certified professional safe technician within 100 miles.

The pubic is invited on Friday, July 29 to celebrate 50 years; door prizes will be given away; and an 1852 safe valued at $1,500.00 will be raffled.

Central Lock is a member of The Iowa Chapter of ALOA, Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA), Safe and Vault Technicians of America and the Mason City Chamber of Commerce.
